Cyprus Labour Institute - PEO (Coordinator)
The Cyprus Labour Institute - PEO (INEK-PEO) is a trade union initiative of the Pancyprian Federation of Labour (PEO) established in 2002. Although under the umbrella of PEO, INEK is an independent and autonomous research centre operating at a professional and scientific basis; it has its own legal standing and was founded in accordance with Law 57/1972 ‘The Guilds and Institutes Law’, as a non-profit-making organisation. INEK is focusing in both research and training activities mainly in the fields of discrimination, migration, gender, labour relations and working conditions.
University of Cyprus (Partner)
The University of Cyprus established in 1989 operating in Nicosia. It offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses. It has 8 schools, 22 departments, 11 research units, 2 institutes and 15 organisational entities. It develops strong research activity (basic and applied) in the whole spectrum of disciplines. Under the Faculty of Letters, the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies operates which includes the disciplines of Byzantine Philosophy, Modern Greek Philosophy, Theory and Literature and Comparative Philosophy and Linguistics.
